Winnipesaukee Muskrats Announce Change in Stakeholders
Laconia, NH, January 30, 2018 - The Winnipesaukee Muskrats, the premiere summer baseball team for the Lakes Region, has announced a change in stakeholders. Scott Everett, Michael Smith and Peter Erklauer will take over as Chairman, President, and Board Member, respectively.
Mr. Everett is the Founder and President of Supreme Lending, a leading national broker/lender with more than 200 branches and 1,800 employees nationwide. He is a 1987 graduate of Gilford High School.
Mr. Smith and Mr. Erklauer are Founders and Directors of CBS Therapy and Alee Behavioral Healthcare. CBS is one of the largest providers in the Northeast of school-based and pediatric therapeutic staffing services. Alee Behavioral Healthcare provides home-based, clinic-based, and school-based ABA services all throughout Rhode Island. Mr. Smith is a 1987 graduate of Laconia High School.
“Having grown up in Gilford and maintained ties to the Lakes Region, I know how special this area is, and it is our goal to give back to the community,” stated Mr. Everett. “I look forward to continuing the work the Muskrats organization has done with other area nonprofits like the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region and Easter Seals all while providing the exciting, affordable, family-friendly game time entertainment option that currently exists.”
Mr. Smith added, “We are very excited to be taking over as stakeholders. I cannot think of a better way to spend a warm summer’s eve than watching some great baseball, meeting up with friends and family, and helping bond the community. Beyond that, it is really special that the Muskrats provide a platform to other area nonprofits to raise funds and awareness about their causes as well.”

The Winnipesaukee Muskrats organization is a Summer collegiate baseball team that brings the best college baseball players from across the country to play at Robbie Mills Field in Laconia, New Hampshire. The Muskrats are a member of the 13-team New England Collegiate Baseball League. The Muskrats are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that depends on community support and volunteers and host families for its existence and continued operation.
