2011 PLAYERS/PITCHERS OF THE WEEK

Player of the Week (ending July 30)

Sam Eberle, 3B/RF
Holyoke Blue Sox
Junior
Chattanooga, TN
Jacksonville State

If Eberle drove in runs all summer at the pace he did this week, he would have shattered the NECBL’s season RBI record on the 14th game of the summer.  Eberle drove in 15 Blue Sox for the week; three times in five games he drove in at least three.  The third baseman also homered twice and doubled twice en route to hitting .500 (9-for-18) on the week.  Eberle missed winning Jacksonville State’s Triple Crown this spring by just two home runs.
