Tarigo won by the widest margin of votes since the inception of this award, showing that he was a very popular selection for this honor. Tarigo was an excellent choice because he is a quiet leader who has a strong team oriented spirit.
Mike Susi: Susi took the reins this year as the coach of a highly competitive Eastern Tides team, and helped turn them into one of the Leagues most feared opponents. The Tides finished the regular season in second place in the American Division, and earned a playoff spot for the first time in eight years.
